Orbit by K Henderson
Orbit, 20 x 30, oil on linen
Here's my latest Trompe L'oeil painting in my Vintage Board Game series. This game was manufactured by Parker Brothers in 1959.
My Orbit game is in pretty good shape. Fortunately, I have 2 very beat up Monopoly games that I used for inspiration for the tape, dents and dings.

Tek- No- Krazy
Tek-No-Krazy, 30 x 30, oil on linen
Here's another game that I had to paint once I saw it. The game is small, about 8" x 8" and I thought it deserved to be seen BIG.
I'm not sure of the exact date this game came on the scene but, obviously, it was when we were still in awe of outer space, robots and flying saucers. Some of us still are.Available

Pink Kiss by K Henderson
Pink Kiss, 20 x 20, oil on canvas
Here's
another Chocolate Kiss painting. This one was a bit of a challenge
because I wanted the reflection to be less vibrant than the main subject
and I struggled to get the color 'Just Right'

Pink Kiss, Giclee Print
Give the gift of Art for Valentines day
Here's another Chocolate Kiss painting. This one was a bit of a challenge because I wanted the reflection to be less vibrant than the main subject and I struggled to get the color 'Just Right'
These prints are reproductions of my paintings.
Two sizes of Prints available. 20" x 20", 12" x 12", Image Sizes are Approximate and not exact! In addition, there is a 1/2" white border around the image so the print can be easily matted.
The giclée fine art print process is able to reproduce the detail and essence of the original oil painting but at a more affordable price than an original K Henderson Painting. The images are printed on high-grade Epson Enhanced Matte paper.

Wonder Woman by K Henderson
Wonder Woman, 24 x 18, oil on cradled board
Wonder Woman is not technically a Super Hero because she has no Super Powers. She's just your ever day Amazonian who is as Beautiful as Aphrodite, as Strong as Hercules, as Wise as Athena and as Swift as Mercury.
Wonder Woman first appeared in Comics at the beginning of World War II and fought along side our troops against the Evil Axis. That's what this painting is about.
Wonder Woman's war propaganda included the "Keep 'Em Flying" campaign. The slogan was used in recruiting for the Aviation Cadet Program.
Like Superman, Wonder Wonder disguised herself by putting on a pair of glasses. She instantly became Nurse Diana Prince.
I couldn't find an invisible plane to use in this painting so this blue game piece represents both Wonder Woman's plane and the plane that Steve Trevor crashed on Paradise Island
Rounding out the painting is the Golden Lasso of Truth and the bullet deflecting Bracelets

Spaceship - Journey to Jupiter by K Henderson
Spaceship - Journey to Jupiter, oil on linen, 30 x 40
This is another oil painting in my Vintage Game series. This Spaceship game was manufactured around 1935. It was obviously handled and hopefully played with a lot! It looks like it was taped with masking tape and later with heavy duty duck (duct) tape.
The bright colors, dents, wrinkles and tape make this a realism painting with much to explore.

Dick Tracy Mystery Card by K Henderson
Dick Tracy Super Detective, 16 x 20, oil on cradled board
When I saw this card game from 1941, I knew it had to be my next painting in my Vintage Game series. The Dick Tracy character was created by Chester Gould in 1931.
I included a finger print to the tape to add to the mystery theme of the painting.

Wonder Woman - Work In Progress 2
Wonder Woman, WIP, 24 x 18
I've only had a few hours more to work on this painting but I thought I would show the progress so you can see how wild it's becoming.

Wonder Woman - Work in Progress
Wonder Woman Work in Progress, 24 x 18
I'm working on a few paintings at once. I have nothing new to share so I decided to show a Work in progress.
This is another of my Super Hero trompe l'oeils. I guess I should call this series 'Super Heros in a Box' sense I keep using the same cardboard box to define the elements. What do you think?
This photo was taking after 3 days of painting.
