I love red. I love stripes. I love glass. I'm having a great time painting this!

You'd think that I would have had enough stripes and reflections with my last painting but Nope, here's another one.

After some false starts, this is the end of one day of painting. The colors are blocked in. Next, I'll work on the background

Finished! I had a great time painting this. The striped background with the red and green striped candy and glass jars along with their reflections was a wonderful challenge. I'm pleased with the results.

I needed to take a break from my Striped painting. This is the result. This is a vintage red, tin, windup toy bird in a cigar box.

I'm searching for a better title. Any suggestions?

38 hours into the painting. I've decided to painting the 'white' stripes of the background a cool gray the the white of the candy is a warm white. This is , of course, subject to change.
