"It's Always 6 O'clock" is oil on canvas, 24 x 30. I'm a BIG fan of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I have over 300 copies of that book with many different illustrators.
I've been wanting to do a painting based on the book for quite some time. A Mad Tea Party is my favorite chapter so that is what inspired this still life. "It's Always 6 O'clock" is oil on canvas, 24 x 30.
I've used this battenburg lace in several of my paintings and I think I'm finally figuring out how to paint it
