Art Renewal Center Salon - Award

Great News! I've been awarded 3rd place in the Art Renewal Center's Salon exhibit for my painting 'Happy Hour', 20 x 24 oil on canvas.

My painting 'When the Dews Fall' is also in the top 100 of the show.

The show will be online soon. I'll let you know when. It's well worth spending time viewing these paintings.

Ah, the first signs of spring: the vultures have returned to the Sacramento Mountains, the jonquils are blooming and the first humming birds have arrived. Thanks goodness. We had a white winter and I'm glad to see it gone.

The Opening Ceremony and Preview will be held Friday, April 9th, 2010, 5:00 - 8:00 pm . The show will remain open to the public April 10 - April 30, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, except Mondays.

Salon International 2010 is the ninth annual juried exhibition sponsored by the International Museum of Contemporary Masters. Artists entered 1288 paintings and 392 were accepted in the show.
